What is Emotional Freedom Technique?

EFT is the training solution for all your EFT tapping needs; a form of acupressure based on the same energy points used in traditional acupuncture, without needles! It is also known as EFT Tapping, and is an alternative complementary therapy, available in Dublin, that is easy to learn and Ideal for Personal Development and Self-Care.

The Emotional Freedom Technique itself is simple: following a tapping sequence, you first think about something that you find stressful, for example, your bills, a past trauma, public speaking or asking your boss for a raise. Next, you simply use your fingertips to lightly tap on about 8 acupuncture points while stating aloud the thoughts and feelings that arise.

Use of tapping the acupuncture points caused the technique to become known simply as Tapping by many users.

How Does Emotional Freedom Technique Work?

EFT Involves:

Emotional Freedom Technique is based on the same premises as acupuncture, though there are no needles involved. The point of acupuncture is to stimulate certain nerves or areas of the body that are proven to impact other areas or states; tapping serves a similar purpose.

It has been shown to "switch off" the fight or flight response within minutes, reducing the feelings and sensations of fear, anxiety or even anger that commonly arise when a person thinks about something stressful or upsetting. At the same time, one would also vocalise any thoughts, feelings or memories that appear during the process.

This effect is seen most dramatically in with Veterans suffering with PTSD where Emotional Freedom Techniques tapping has been adopted by many VA treatment centers because of its exceptional results.

If you're unfamiliar with Emotional Freedom Techniques and tapping or similar techniques such as acupuncture, the entire process may seem strange, silly or unrealistic.

What is Matrix Reimprinting ?

Matrix reimprinting (MR) is a new and evolving energy psychology intervention. Matrix Reimprinting incorporates recent understanding from quantum and epigenetic science alongside Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and inner child work, referred to as ECHOs (Energy Consciousness Holograms) Using MR, the client works with the ECHO to release the issue or trauma. The EFT Stress Test Study That Shocked the Researchers...

A study performed by Dr. Dawson Church and Dr. David Feinstein measured cortisol levels before and after treatment.

83 participants were divided into 3 groups: the 1st group received an hour of Tapping; the 2nd group received an hour of psychotherapy ("talk" therapy); the 3rd group (control group) received no treatment.

The researchers measured cortisol levels before and after the treatment. Cortisol was measured because it is known as the "stress hormone" of the body. As stress goes up, cortisol levels go up.

When the researchers were measuring the cortisol levels of the Tapping group after treatment they thought they had a problem...

The levels had dropped so significantly in such a short period of time that they thought there must be something wrong with their equipment.

They kept recalibrating their equipment and retesting until they finally came to the conclusion that there was in fact...nothing wrong with their equipment but rather that...the Tapping worked!

Results: The 1st group (Tapping) demonstrated a 24% decrease in cortisol levels; the 2nd and 3rd groups showed the regular decrease in cortisol levels that happens over time.

The reality: Psychotherapy alone relieves stress, but over a long period of time. The immediate benefits of psychotherapy don't register in your body, where excessive amounts of the "stress hormone" cortisol still run rampant, putting your health at risk.

Study findings: Tapping balances activity between the sympathetic and parasympathetic regions of your brain, producing "a neutral emotional state," the gold standard of health and wellness.
